A friend suggests the condenser may well be the problem with my 1976
Johnson 15hp outboard (15R76) failing to re-start after running for a few
minutes. I'm using new NGK #B7HS plugs and fresh fuel mix with Sea Foam.
I've tried gapping at .030 and .035 in. with same results. Also keeping bulb
pumped to insure fuel is flowing o.k. Initially, the engine starts after a couple
pulls, but after running for a few minutes and shutting down, it's stubborn about re-starting, although it's trying. Too, I've tried difference rich/lean settings. Help would be MUCH appreciated!
