1992 40 hp Johnson No Power

was running across the lake at full thrttle and it just bogged down to about half speed or less. Now it starts fine and runs smooth but won't come up to full rpm under load. Runs fine when not under full load. Checked spark and compression, tried new gas. Any ideas?

Check your timing advance module, sounds like it has either come loose from the linkage or could be a bad module...
