Did I mess my carb up? 1987 30hp Johnson

I took the carburetor apart and when I went to remove the center nozzle it would not budge but instead cracked up the sides. The little pipe inside it is still intact, the outer portion with 3 holes on each side just split up the sides. I don't see where these holes have a function other than letting fuel down into the center high speed bowl better. Problem is, after looking through the carb microfich I can't find it available for sale. Is it time for a new carb? Hopefully not, the carb is clean now but it doesn't seem to be picking up the fuel. I can spray fuel directly into the throat and it runs nice for a few seconds but never picks up the fuel and runs like it should.

Either still have plugged passages or jets in carb or carb is damaged.

I did not remove the little plugs on the carb and clean behind those. I'm pretty sure, I will buy the carb kit and just replace those along w/ all the gaskets.
