help
i have a 2003 johnson
it will not idle or run long at low rpm maybe 2-3 mins, troling is out of the question, it seems to be starving for fuel, running well other wise.
the primer bubble is always slack after the engine shuts off and if you prime the bubble before it starves for fuel it will keep running.
i have to prime it 12-15 times to get it tight again and if i keep primimng it at low idel/rpm the engine runs ok.
even when the engine is off for 2-3 mins the fuel runs slack in the line and i have to prime it up after 2-3 mins not running.
i have replaced all the fuel lines from the tank to the motor and the primer bubble as well as the inline fuel filter, confirmed no air leaks in any of it.
so where do i look now on the engine? it appears to me to be a air leak or weak fuel pump although if the fuel pump was weak it shouldnt run well at 1500 rpm and up either.
not sure whre to look next, HELP.
