I have been having a problem with my 2001 225HO Johnson model J225HGLSIF. The symptoms are bogging down coming out of the hole 1000 rpm loss and loss of approximately 15 mph. So far I have had the carbs rebuilt. Compression check 123-125 psi except the port bottom was 114 psi. With a KV meter the low cylinder was around 10,000 volts swapped coils and got better 7,000 volts. All butterflies are wide open. Timing advance not sticking. Pulled plug wires one at a time while motor was running and you could hear a difference. Had a spark check done all OK. Squeezed the primer ball while on plane no change. Motor doesn’t miss, chough, sputter, fart, choke, puke just the bogging down and rpm and speed loss. Any ideas?????
