New Member / Questions on 70 hp Johnson Sea Horse

Hello everyone, New to the forum and wanted to introduce myself.
I just inherited a 15' Terry Bass boat with a 70 HP Johnson Sea Horse.

To start with, the boat has set up on the trailer for 4 years.
I pulled the boat home and replaced the battery.
Dumped the old fuel out of the tanks and flushed the lines with new fuel.
The motor started up but runs rough.
I have a carb guy that is going to clean the carbs for me.

My questions are....
1. How do I tell what year the motor is so I can pick up a service manual.
2. I was told to replace the water pump since it set up for so long.
3. Any tips on replacing it.
4. Any good places for buying parts online.
5. Where can I pick up a service manual for it.
6. Is this motor a 2 or 4 stroke and what oil should I use?

Well, that's all I have for now but as I work on it,
I'm sure I'll have many more questions lol.

Ok, so I found Boat.net and did some reading and found out how to determine what year the motor is.
It's a 1979 model.

So off to do some more reading, trying to find info.

Ok, I just found a service manual for $5 bucks.
Downloading it now.
