Hi,first timer here.Today I went to start my 25 hp 1976 johnson and the rope did not want to pull at first,but on a second or third try it pulled and started.The rope did not retract!So my last run was to the boat landing.What is wrong with it? I should add that this has the electric start but don't use it as the battery cable broke.
