115 johnson ob no tilt

hey guys,I am trying to get my 115 Johnson ocean runner ready for fishing . everything works but I cannot get the tilt to raise. It worked fine when put away last yr. It is stuck in down position. I checked power to switch and is ok. I can hear the relay??clicking. outbds are new to me. any help or suggestions will be appreciated.

Unfortunately, the trim motors are very susceptible to corrosion, particularly when in storage. Try LIGHTLY tapping on the trim motor while someone activates the switch - that may free it up.

thanks for the advice . But, I cannot get the motor up. I turned the release screw counter cw and waited. After struggling the engine will not go up. Is there another trick to raising the motor?
