ran mine hot the other day. the thermostat housing threads basically melted and the thermostat itself is fried. The engine spark and compression make me believe it is repairable. All parts suppliers show the thermostat housing as obsolete. I was going to run without the thermostat but I have to fill the hole with something. tried pipe plug caps, but too big or too small (1 1/4, 1 1/2). Would anyone have a suggestion: another supplier, etc? thanks Richard
