i have what i was told is a 1991 johnson 35 built for the military, the only numbers or sticker or anything i can find is a stamp that says ACT, 000067, orlando, fl, i took it out one time is quit pumping and locked up, now it has 10psi of compression, how do i find exactly what i have.
it looks like a long shaft johnson, it has a case/turbine over the prop a 5 blade prop inside this case, the motor itself looks like a regular johnson pull start hand tiller, it has some kind of drain next to the choke i was told is to submerge the motor and drain the water from? looks more like a fuel drain possibly i want to rebuild it, i used some parts on my 77 seahorse to convert to hand tiller and pull start but want to put the bigger motor back on the boat any help is good help
