Ok fellas. I'm losing prime and so far I've tracked it down to one of the carbs. The loss of prime happens fairly quickly. It doesn't matter if the engine is hot or cold. I guess to say that it loses prime in about 5-10 minutes after shutting down the engine.
I pulled the carb that is in question and am going to replace the gasket at the bowl and at the manifold. These are the two areas where I'm seeing gas seepage.
Once the carb was removed I pulled the float and needle to check the needle, but when I reinstalled the float I noticed that after I snugged the screw holding the float rod(?) in place the float was actually parallel to the flange of the carb where the bowl mounts. Now with that being said how to I set the float properly and where do I set it?
I'll post some pictures when I get home, my work blocks photobucket...
Thanks for any help!
