Motor: 1986 J6RCDE Evinrude / Johnson
Issue: Diagram shows o-ring (diagram #55) over impeller housing assembly. Some people mention that the o-ring fits into a groove near the top of the drive shaft. My drive shaft has no groove (even though diagram seems to picture a D shaft with a groove.
Question(s): Is the o-ring included as a possible part, not used on my particular motor? or Does this o-ring go inside the top of the impeller housing assy?
