i have a 74 115hp and dusting off the cobwebs started it up noticed it ran rough at idle so changed plugs still runs rough. one thing is that while at idle it almost completely stops, there is no gradually dying or sputtering in just stops like electrical power shuts down, i was worried at first cause it almost sounds like it freezes up thats how sudden it stops. could it be powerpak? it will start right up with no problems. maybe rectifier? but doesnt that just charge the battery?
