Carburetor rebuild for 1993 40HP

The shafts that supports the butterfly valves are seriously worn.
I imagine the corresponding section of the carby body is also worn.
These shafts are as loose as a stick in a bucket.
How do I fix this? Is there a kit or is machining required.?
My pockets aren't deep enough to buy new ones.

Replacing them is only thing you do.

Replacement is what I want. When I inquired at boat.net I was told I would need to buy carbies or least the body. In the past, on other engines, I could buy over size shafts and ream out the holes to fit. If there were no oversize shafts a nylon sleeve would be inserted in the carby body.
