Hi boating network.I have a j25tecem.I have finished up work on ignition and other maintenance work.i have two questions.First i was told by boat repair shop that my 11x9 prop was not the proper pitch.I installed the prop they suggested ,but i have massive prop ventilation on hot shot?Need help.Second question is the parts that i have installed for fuel and ignition system are for 1993 power head not 1989.The tag on motor is j25tecem.Was wondering why?i bought motor used from shop.

Have the shop look at prop to see has correct thrust washers on it.
Someone may have changed engines, don't know.
