I have just replaced the water pump assembly and I had to remove the shaft to get the old key stck out. hen replace the shaft and the WP i couldnt turn the shaft by hand any ideas on what could be wrong ? Thanks

Not sure what all you taken apart but have a gear or bearing not lined up properly. -
All I did was remove the shaft to get the key stock out so I could replace it along with the water pump now when I tried to put it back the shaftdoesnt seem to be catching. It will go all the way in but nothing happensComment

Probably will have to take gearcase apart to line shaft and gear back up.Comment
