Johnson SC10S 1 1/2 hp outboard

I hav a model SC10S that appears to be in godd shape except for a couple of parts. There appears to have been some type of retainer clip to secure the gas cap to a fitting to keep it from going overboard when it si opened. Any body have any ideas? Alsom the handle on the needle valve shaft used to open/close the gas feed from the gas tank has worked loose and does not turn the needle valve. Is the valve assembly available? I gues the simple solutions is to check and see if it is open and leave it alone. I have apotential buyer for the motor and would like to present it in working order if possible.
