1972 johnson 25hp runs, but rough

it will start fine as long as i give it half throttle and back off once it starts, but when idleing it will slowly die out and start sneezing then die, also when going thru no wake areas it will sometimes stall out, ive tried getting it tuned right with the slow speed needle but that doesnt do much. and at certain rpms the engine shakes pretty bad where i can fell it through the whole boat.

Run a compression test and check spark on all cylinders. Probably need to remove and clean carb.
