Hi all,
I am rebuilding an older 20hp johnson with model#J20CRCNB.
From this number I have gathered that it is a 1982 20hp canadian derated rope start engine.
I'm looking at buying some parts online but it seems that they didn't make a 20hp in 1982, according to boats.net. Does this mean that mine is actually a 25, derated to 20 in Canada? Would the equivalent model number for ordering parts be a J25RCNB?
