Identifying a motor

Just bought an old Johnson outboard motor. The identification plate is missing so I don�t know how old it is. Need to know the age to be able to by some parts. Have many other pics.

Look on engine block to see if has number stamped into round alum plug.

Identification

On the alumnium plat it reads FDL17M. Can it be a 1963, 18hp motor? Can anyone tell me the age/hp from those pics. Have some other pics to.
