  • 120 blown johnson swap

My 87 glasstream bass boat transom is getting weak so i landed a 1993 stratos 274fs. Solid boat, in very good condition. But the 120 has a hole in the block from the rod exploding. My plan is to swap my 135 with a 4" manual jackplate off the glasstream to the stratos and then eventually get a 150 for it. How hard could this be. It appears straight forward and looks like a saturday project. Also, could the props be swapped out. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. MY CONCERN WOULD BE THE SHAFT LENGTH.

You should not have any problems, all the rigging components should be interchangeable between the two motors. Should not take you more than a few hours.

Kinda what i thought. I didnt tell ya years, but a 76' 135 is swapping out the blown 93' 120. Hoping 93' t&t works on the 76'.
