1982 Johnson 60hp water leak?

Just recently bought my first boat. Has a 82' Johnson 60hp model J60ELCNM. I throw the motor muffs on and turn on the hose slightly and crank it up. Been doing some minor work but everything seems to run fine so far. My only concern is water coming from the exhaust housing mounting bracket while the motor is running. Is this normal while using the muffs or is it a bad lower to outer housing seal maybe?

It is commen for water to come out of the midsection as well as the exhaust ports.
