Been chasing down overheat problems,change water pump,housing,gaskets..installed complete kit. Will not overheat at idle but will when it gets on plane. Replaced thermostats,overheated again, then tried without stats with no change.
I removed both heads and did find a few passages blocked. Bought new o-rings for around cylinders as this model does not use "gaskets". Pics were taken after removal,all passages are clear now(between cylinders were blocked as seen in pics)
my question is does a 99 150 have water deflectors? It does not list any on the exploded parts diagram,but was told it needs them.
