Johnson 150 V6 Need Help

I just purchased a 1982 Johnson 150 V6, it runs but sat for a long time. When it starts it idols to what seems to be full throttle, I'm thinking something in the carb is sticking. The throttle cable seems to be working correctly. Are there any other things I should check or fluides other than the old gas in the tank to change prior to testing on the water since it sat so long.

Probably need to remove and clean carbs, probably plugged up from old gas.
