fuel pump problems

I have a 1962 18hp model fd16a that has serviced me very well since new, but just recently developed a hole in the fuel pump diaphram. I have searched continously for a repair kit to no avail. Any help would be greatly appreciated. a new guy on the block.

Thanks for the info Daviet, but this fuel pump is different with a #378805 and not available. I would be happy to install a new pump but so far no one can tell me if there is a substitute. again, thanks

Sorry, that's what I get for not looking up your exact pump. Maybe this will help you out, I couldn't find a rebuild kit listed for your pump.

Thanks much Daviet. looks like 0388685 is the sub. I found a picture of it and I believe it will work. going to call Marine and verify and order. let you know if it's right. again, thanks.

sorry it took so long to get back, Daviet. the fuel pump sub # 0388685 works just fine. thanks much for your help.
