2002 9.9 4 stroke Idle problem

Use the motor for trolling and have issue with it shutting down when at idle or trying to slow troll. Carb was serviced about a year ago and worked well for a while then the problem started again. I use stabilizer in fuel. Anything I can try before I have to have the carb serviced again?

Probably will need to remove and clean carb.
