84 70hp air box hose

Bought a project boat and am in the process of overhauling the carburetors. The previous owner left the air box off. I have a hose that's connected to the intake manifold under the bottom carburetor. Does it connect to the hose connection on the air box? Thanks, Keith

Yes that hose goes to the air silencer.
