6 h.p. fuel pump

I have a 2004 6 hp outboard (m/n J6RL4SR) with a bad fuel pump. BRP can only supply a repair kit whereas I need the entire pump. Does anyone know of somewhere with scrap engines that might have a pump. It appears to be the same pump from 96 to 2004 for 6 hp Johnsons and many Evinrudes up to 2000.

Original part # was 0445078. When that is ordered today, a repair kit is sent but it doesn't include the piece I need!

Any old Johnson or Evinrude 5 or 6 hp 4-stroke engine from 1995-2003 uses this pump. Does anyone have an old pump

This number is superceeded

I have this number in my post. When it is ordered, a different number is substituted and only the repair kit is sold. I think I need to find somewhere with used engine parts so I can get the whole pump.

Its not a repair kit, it is a fuel pump kit. Will come complete with all the parts to install the new fuel pump.

Fuel Pump Kit

I ordered this pump 0445078 and Johnson substituted the repair kit p/n 5008368. This kit consists of p/n's 446294, 446291, 445082, and 5007352 a bracket kit. It does NOT include complete fuel pump. What I need is the base and (#3 in their picture) and #6, the housing.

Does anyone know of a scrapped engine that might have this fuel pump available?
