  • 1998 130 hp needle valve?

    Does anyone have a picture of the front of this carb? And can they point out the Needle valve?

    number 9 is the air/fuel needle valve, number 10 is the float needle valve.

      I saw that schematic already. It the needle valve kinda set back ? I see the brass jet....to the left of it I see a deep hole ( like a bolt hole)

        is the needle vavle set deep in the hole?

          Some of those holes may not be used, does the hole go anywhere? (is there any passages from that hole)

                      Yes, that hole looks like thats where the needle valve would go.

                        whates the likelyhood of the mixture adjustment slowly going out of whack and needing to be adjusted?

                          Do these valves periodically need adjustment or is it more than likely a different problem?

                            Over time it is possible, the vibrations can cause the screw to loosen.
