I have just recently bought a rebult 2006 90 hp 2 cycle outboard. it has been nothing but problem. I bought this engine 2 months ago and the first trip out it went into limp mode and would not rev up just acted like it was running on 2 cylinders. I have taken it back 5 times now an the problem still exist. I was wondering if anyone else has ran into this. I have had the sensor replaced on top the flywheel, I have had the engine placed in a tank and tuned, i have also just replaced the oil line from the tank to the engine, when this all happens the low oil light comes on and it goes into limp mode. i have tried everything except taking it off the boat and giving it back. any suggestions?
