I purchased a used boat and motor last year and the seller provided me with a few Gallons of the OMC XD 30 oil. He had removed the oil injection and began adding oil directly to the fuel.

I have recently run out of the oil he provided me, and much to my surprise, I do not have dealer close and cannot obtain the recommended oil. I do have a Wal-Mart local and an auto zone. Can I utilize the Super Tech or Quicksilver brands of the TCW3 oils for 2-cycle? Will this affect performance with my motor? Please advise and thank you!

As long as it is TCW-3 certified oil it ok to use.
