  • warning buzzer goes insane

Hi everyone. I have a problem with my newly purchased boat. Im new to boating and the whole experience, but i love it already. I have a 1984 Johnson 115hp VRO, The problem is when i run the motor with muffs on for about 10 min or so. The warning buzzer goes insane by the control box where the key goes. The buzzer stays on until i turn it off, also when i re insert the key it stays on for about 10min or so. Then i can re start it and same thing happens. The motor does not seem to be overheating, The pee stream is ice cold and the motor does not feel hot. Is it the VRO or Low oil, Or fuel line problem. Thanks for the help out there...

It is the overheat alarm, engine is not getting enough water. The flusher sometimes wont supply enough water to engine to keep cool, try putting in water and if buzzer still goes off then replace water pump.
