Johnson 76 not pumping water

Hi guys I'm new to the boating world and just in need of some help,
I've recently bought a Johnson 76 seahorse, I think it's a 20hp(no writing on it)
The motor starts up perfectly every time but does not pump out water, instead just a light mist,
Does anyone know what the problem could be?

Yes you most likely need to replace the water pump impeller.
