snapped mid-section bolts on 85 j-v6 150

im trying to remove the powerhead on my 85 Johnson v6 150, All was going well till i snapped 4 of 6 housing long bolts. All flush with the surface. i know they must be drilled out and extracted out, but being so close to the side has anyone out there dealt with this problem before?

I have not dealt with this particular situation, but have with broken bolts. You will need to drill and extract. Use a punch and punch an indent in the center of the bolt. I recommend purchasing reverse drill bits. Sometimes you can get lucky and the bolt come out during the drill process (with the reverse drill bits).
