bad starting when hot

this subject has probably been coverd somwhere on here but as i am new to this one can anyone direct me to the thread please, i have an older 2 stoke motor that starts when its cold but once hot is a pig to restart untill its cooled off would anybody be able to point me in the direction to get this problem solved thanks

Don't know what model motor you have but check compression, check for spark on each cylinder and condition of spark plugs to see if running lean or rich, check carbs are clean and choke working.
