57 Evinrude Lark 35 hp motor problems

57 Evinrude Lark 35 hp Wouldn't start we I bought it rebuilt the carb. and wired up the starer to a selinoid and switch cleaned out fuel tank new fuel lines still would not start . Added new coils and points and bought some spark plug wires from the auto parts place and cut them to fit and checked the compression it was good still wont start . Turns over fine still wont start .
