Johnson 90 stainless prop. sets off temp alarm

I installed a ss prop on my 90 4 strike and it caused the water temp alarm to go off at wide openI throttle. The ss prop was the same size as the aluminum one.
I never had the problem with the aluminum prop. So I then put the aluminum one back on and had no problem. Does anyone have an idea.

The propeller should have no effect on the water temp alarm or engine over heating.

I took it to a repair shop and they did several things and they said they even contacted a brp rep. things they did were replace water pump, replace exhaust tube but it still causes the temp alarm to go off only when the stainless steel prop is on there. Does anyone know what i could try or how I could speak to a service rep myself.
