New guy with an OMC...Hello

Hello. My name is Jay. I'm from Northern Virginia. I just scored my second new/old Johnson outboard. It's a 1985 140HP VRO V4. The first one I had was a 1979 85HP that never gave me a problem. I had it for four years until I traded in on a newer boat package.

I am no mechanic. I can tinker with a few things but figured I'd ask the experts my questions before I screw something up.
