i have a johnson 175 bought the boat in december been in the shop more then the water mainly for stalling they replaced the vro pump put new carbs on timing spring temp sensor new shifter and cables and now they are replacing the shifter parts in lower unit because they are shot could not get reverse when i pick up the boat last time after they just fixed it the main problem is after i drive the boat i while stop and get gas or lunch come back starts up idles then stalls starts right and does it again get it moving and she straightens up till you get to the boat then she just wants to keep stalling boat she always starts right up any ideas thanks btw this has been all under warranty but i just want to enjoy the boat so beware of used boats 220 fishawk

yes it like a sputter then dies but starts right back up

Could be a lean condition which would be plugged low speed jets or passages in carbs, linkage or timing out of adjustment or an air leak on intake.
