Motor was pretty much rebuilt a year ago, but for some reason it seems to be running on three pistons. Was choking and had limited power so boys couldn't ski last summer. Four new pistons & water pump along with other misc. Any ideas? Also, looking to replace Starter Drive, is this a simple job or need a tech?

Replacing the starter drive is relatively easy, if you have mechanical skills you can change yourself. Have you completed a compression test? If you have not then you should. This will narrow your problems.
