johnson water serculation in head

i need to see a diagram of a johnson 50hp model # 50es72c my head gasket keeps going out between the cylinders a guy told me i was missing the rubber plugs in the head to circulate the water all the diagrams i look at dont show them need to know if this is true

The only rubber in the head may be the relief valve grommet. That person may have been talking about the water tube seals. The following links are diagrams of that motor.
