The #1 cylinder is blown. It is in need of a new power head. There is approx. 720 hrs on the engine. I decided to power up instead of the rebuild. All service was routinely done every 100 hrs or so. The lower unit is still in great shape, I recently installed a new power trim, ECU was replaced about 300 hrs ago, and new starter about 300 hrs ago.
These parts are interchangeable with OMC, Johnson/Evinrude. A new or used lower unit alone will cost around 1200. I am looking to sell the whole motor at $1500.00 OBO.
