    HI have a johnson 9.5 hp mq12a 1966 runs and starts like a dream but finding water mixed with oil in lower gearcase i changed fill and drain nylon seals no evidance of prorp seal fouling as all seems dry at prorp area can any body suggest any seals to be at fault

    The gearcase seal that holds the two halves together maybe leaking. It can only be purchased as a roll, part number: 0309044 There is also a seal and gasket below the water pump. p/n: 0313282 and p/n: 0303339

      would this also be the cause to find very oily muck while flushing motor in fresh water tank and if so will these seals fix that problem also??????

        No two strokes will always leave oil in the water tank.
